Sweatstock is this Saturday, which coincides with Record Store Day, as well as Sweat’s 6th Anniversary. We suggest going if you live in Florida - many amazing bands will play at Churchill’s and Sweat Records this day + night - including Discosoma’s Lil Daggers, Beings, and Guy Harvey. Sumsun is busy; playing dates with Mt. Kimbie while gearing up for a tour with Neon Indian + Sleigh Bells amidst writing new material and synthesizing remixes type of busy. Above the photograph you will find an ace remix of ANR's 'Big Problem' from Judson and Edwin. The duo will be playing Sweatstock this coming Saturday at 5:30 PM on the Churchill’s Stage.
Lil Daggers are playing Respectable Street Cafe in West Palm Beach tonight. Catch this show 561, LD are among the best bands in Miami. Stream 2010’s ‘Devil You Know’ above the flyer and expect a Lil Daggers 7” single from us in March.
This Wednesday the 29th marks the first LUSH HAUS at Propaganda in Lake Worth. The monthly features DJ sets by residents Sumsun and The Get, with special live performances by electronic-thinking acts; this month its Hear Hums. Download the December mix from The Get above.

This Friday night we are having a party to celebrate the ‘Artificial Reef’ public projection series we are exhibiting on Miami Beach this week. At this party you will find art by us (Morphologic Studios) in video form and fluorescence photography, accompanied by live ‘aquatic soundscapes’ performed by ANR and Sumsun. A collaboration w/ video artist Jamie Harley will be projected on the bands as they perform. Check out ‘Call It Home’ from Sumsun’s new record Samo Milagro above.

The awesomely-prolific Dino Felipe has just released a new record, My Vomit Is A Crystal Ball, via Otto Von Schirach's newly-formed label Triangle Earth. Witness the smooth track ‘Puppetry’ above the photo of Dino performing live back in 2008.
Transcendental pop trio The Jameses are set to release their second 7” of 2010 next week, this time through Brooklyn label, Captured Tracks. Check out the B-side, ‘Fifth Dimension’, streaming over at MySpace.
Can’t Stop is the solo project from Animal Tropical drummer Jorge Rubiera. We have been silently freaking out about this record, titled Neighborhood, for a while, and now it is officially available in digital form via iTunes. Check out a stream of ‘The Boys’ up above the photo of Jorge in the woods.
Additionally, the record is being handled by the newly materialized Rottweiler Farm, “a record label created by Humberto Jose Castello and Jorge Rubiera in order to distribute the creative materials they and their colleagues have been making”. Most who know of this creative collective have distant memories of Pygmy, and RF has plans to release a retrospective collection of their recordings in 2011.
