We are looking forward to Friday night (the 10th). First, Roofless Records’ awesome series ‘Cinema Sounds’ returns, this time at the brand new O Cinema in Wynwood. Beings, Cop City / Chill Pillars, Axe and the Oak, and Bulletproof Tiger will provide soundtracks to films of their choosing.
Second, Lil Daggers and Psychic Mirrors set The Vagabond up with a (healthy) dose of Datura-laden sounds. Attendees of the ‘Cinema Sounds’ show pay half-priced admission to the Vagabond show.

This Friday, the 29th we celebrate the third release in our South Florida-centric 7” single series: Beings. The Vagabond and Sweat records are hosting the show, and Plains is supporting.
We will have the limited edition 7” vinyl available at the show, which features handmade sleeve art by the band. You can also order via this site by clicking on the little Add to Cart Paypal button to the left.
30 NE 14th ST, Miami, FL. Doors 10 PM.
WPB’s The Dewars and The Band In Heaven are set to play this Friday at The Vagabond, and we are psyched. The Band In Heaven have just released an awesome split tape with Weird Wives and The Dewars (photo below) are about to depart on a US tour with Surfer Blood and The Drums. Check out ‘If The World Was Gonna End Today’, a track from The Dewars’ recent EP, Songs from The Neverglades.

We are proud to present the debut 7″ vinyl release (’Take Your Time (With Me)’ b/w ‘Never Seen Snow’) from West Palm Beach’s Guy Harvey. The record is limited to 100 copies in black vinyl with individually-made sleeve art by the band. We have rubber stamped our corallimorph logo onto the b-side of the center-sticker and stamped/ numbered the a-side.
To celebrate The Vagabond is hosting the 7″ release party this Friday the 13th with sponsorship by Sweat Records and the live sounds of Guy Harvey and The Jameses. We will have the record for sale for $7 at the show; see you there!
Special thanks to Lolo from Sweat Records for facilitating the event and Brian Butler from www.theupperhandart.com for the awesome poster design, which interpolates images from our MORPHOLOGIC natural history film, ‘Transmission’.
