Universal Expansion formed in early 2011 in West Palm Beach, playing a string of Snooze Theatre shows w/ jams that ended up becoming the source material on their first record, Universal Expansion I. The band, now a WPB/ NYC/ LA triangular collaboration, features members of Cop City/ Chill Pillars, Guy Harvey, and LLLR. Check out ‘A Warning’ from UE I, which was recorded and mixed by Adam Perry of Guy Harvey.
New Coke is one of the last standing West Palm Beach-area bands that emerged from the Snooze Theatre scene around 2010. Now, in the wake of their excellent self-released debut 7”, we are treated to a full stream of their new three song EP.
Dig this fresh Sonic Boom-mixed version of ‘High Low’ from WPB’s the band in Heaven. The track is part of a small 7” comp entitled Psych for Sore Eyes, and sees release on Feb. 18th via Sonic Cathedral.
